Frequently Asked Questions/Concerns
Hours of Operation
Therapy sessions are held by appointment only. Evening appointments and Saturday appointments are available.
Therapy sessions are usually 45-60 minutes long.
We offer a free 15 minute consultation by phone prior to your initial session. You have no obligation to commit or schedule an appointment, but this is your opportunity to discuss your needs and determine if you would like to move forward with therapy.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a $50 no show fee. This fee is due at the beginning of your next appointment. Frequent no-shows may result in termination of services and referral to another provider.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my copay?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Personal Best T & C currently accepts the following insurance plans:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Blue Care Network
Blue Cross Complete (Medicaid)
Straight Medicaid (No managed care plan)
Other insurance plans to be added soon!
Health Savings Plan
Sliding Fee Scale
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis. We prefer using Open Path Collective arrangements for sliding scale. Please check out openpathcollective.org for more information.
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted for payment, as well as health savings plans.
